MillyWay is a free platform for resource exchange through direct barter, without financial intermediaries. Our mission is to facilitate exchanges between users in a simple, transparent, and community-driven manner.

Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using MillyWay, you unconditionally accept these terms of service as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our service.
Account Creation
Registration Conditions
- Minimum age: No age restriction
- Minors under 16 years old: Must obtain consent from their parents or legal guardians AND be accompanied by an adult during in-person exchanges
- Accurate information: You agree to provide truthful and up-to-date information
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The confidentiality of your password
- All activities performed from your account
- Immediately informing MillyWay in case of unauthorized use
Platform Usage
What you can do
- Publish resources you wish to exchange
- Search for and propose exchanges with other users
- Communicate with other members via the platform
- Seal matches to confirm your exchanges
What is prohibited
You agree NOT to:
- Publish illegal, dangerous, stolen, or counterfeit resources
- Propose exchanges involving money, sexual services, or any illegal activity
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
- Impersonate another person
- Use the platform for commercial or advertising purposes without authorization
- Attempt to bypass the site's security measures
- Automatically extract data (scraping)
- Post offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content
Any violation may result in immediate suspension or deletion of your account.
User-Posted Content
Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you post (descriptions, photos, resource information) until the exchange is actually completed (QR code scan).
By posting content on MillyWay, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute this content on our platform solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You warrant that:
- You have the right to post this content
- The content does not violate any law or third-party rights
- Descriptions and photos correspond to the reality of the offered resources
MillyWay does not verify user-posted content and cannot be held responsible for its accuracy.
Exchanges Between Users
Nature of Exchanges
MillyWay is a matchmaking platform. We facilitate connections between users, but:
- We are not a party to the exchanges
- We do not guarantee the quality, legality, or conformity of exchanged resources
- We do not intervene in the exchange process
Sealing Process
When you seal a match (by signing with your initials), you formally accept:
- The exchange as described in the sealing agreement
- The specific conditions (date, time, location)
- That all your pending matches concerning the same resource will be archived
- That in case of cancellation, your archived matches will be restored (with no guarantee that proposals are still available)
An exchange is officially confirmed only when ALL participants have sealed their respective match.
Exchange Responsibilities
IMPORTANT:
You are entirely responsible for:
- Verifying the condition and conformity of the received resource BEFORE finalizing the exchange
- Your personal safety during meetings
- Respecting commitments made
- Treating other participants with respect and courtesy
MillyWay assumes NO responsibility if an exchange goes wrong, but we strongly encourage you to contact us at: contact@millyway.com in case of problems.
Cancellation and Guarantees
- No returns: Once the exchange is finalized (QR code scanned), there is no possibility of return
- No guarantee: Resources are accepted "as is"
- Cancellation: If a participant does not show up or cancels, the complete match is cancelled and resources return to the market
Moderation
MillyWay reserves the right to:
- Remove any inappropriate content or content contrary to these terms
- Suspend or delete any account in case of violation
- Refuse access to the platform without justification

Limitation of Liability
Service Provided "As Is"
MillyWay is provided free of charge, without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous service availability
- Absence of errors or bugs
- Quality or safety of exchanges between users
- Accuracy of information posted by users
Exclusion of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MillyWay and Richard Beuzelin cannot be held liable for:
- Direct or indirect damages resulting from service use
- Financial losses related to exchanges
- Accidents, theft, fraud, or conflicts between users
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Any harm caused by another user
You use MillyWay at your own risk.
Safety Recommendations
For your safety, we recommend that you:

- ✅Inform a close contact about your exchanges
- ✅Carefully verify resources before finalizing
- ✅Trust your instinct
- ✅Never share banking or sensitive information

Intellectual Property
The name "MillyWay", logo, design, and all platform elements are the exclusive property of Richard Beuzelin.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.
Account Deletion
You can request account deletion at any time by contacting: contact@millyway.com
Deletion will result in:
- Permanent deletion of your personal data (within 30 days)
- Cancellation of all your pending matches
- Deletion of all your published resources
Warning: This action is irreversible.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms of service at any time.
In case of substantial modification:
- The update date will be modified at the top of this page
- You will be informed by email or notification on the site
- Your continued use of the service after notification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms of service are governed by the laws of the province of QC, CA.
In case of dispute, the courts of QC will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions will remain fully in effect.
